MASTERS OF THE WRITTEN WORD – QUARTERLY SHORT STORY COMPETITION
We accept short stories from all genres but have an undeniable passion for all things deep and profound with lots of underlying messages to leave us thinking and feeling.

That said, this contest is open to all genres, though we have a strong preference for horror, paranormal, fantasy, and other strange and unsettling stories.

Four times per year Wolven Moon Press will choose several short stories from contest entries and general submissions for publishing in collections and anthologies. The winner’s published work will also appear in a quarterly installment of WMP Magazine.

NEWSLETTER PROMPT CHALLENGES – MONTHLY WRITING CONTEST
Wolven Moon will run a monthly newsletter contest. To enter, respond to a writing prompt found in Wolven Moon Publishing’s monthly newsletters. The details of each writing prompt are explained fully towards the end of each newsletter.

CHAPBOOK COMPETITION – QUARTERLY POETRY
As with essays and memoirs, poetry can be a window to the soul (to say the very least).

We publish poetry that makes us think and feel at the highest levels of human emotion. Poems that invoke thoughts that we can’t get out of our heads for days.

Four times per year, on Mar 20th, June 20th, Sept 20th, and Dec 20th, Wolven Moon Press will run the Quarterly Wolven Moon Chapbook Competition.

The contest is for unpublished poetry and prose and is open to new and established writers alike.

Wolven Moon will publish one chapbook made up of contest winners and one chapbook of poetry from a single author/poet.

All shapes, sizes, and “colors,” of poetry are welcomed in this contest.

Prize pool: $50 to the winner and several honorable mentions

WOLVEN MOON PUBLISHING’S NEW AUTHOR SEARCH – BI-ANNUAL PUBLISHING AND PROMOTION DEAL
There is an undeniable magic in the alternate realities presented us by books. Those who read know exactly what we mean.

We accept novel and novella submissions from all genres, as long as they are well thought out and written even better.

Twice per year, during the summer, and again in the winter, Wolven Moon Publishing will award new authors from several genres with a publishing deal.

Winners will be selected from contest entries only. General submissions will not be considered for New Author

This contest is open to all genres, though the publisher has a strong preference for horror, paranormal, fantasy, and other strange and unsettling stories.

Reading fee: $10.00

Prize pool: $150 dollars to one of three winners and $50 to the runner ups (PayPal cash or Amazon cards), contributor’s copies, and possibly free merch or promotions (cash value is subject to change due to actual number of contest participants and will be updated accordingly).
